To graduate with honors in Sociology, a student must:

1. Take two c.u.'s in sociological theory (rather than only 1, as required for the major.) The second theory course substitutes for one of the sociology electives in the major program.
2. Take at least one sociology c.u. at or above the 400 level.
3. Prepare a senior thesis. Students are expected to take Sociology 300, Senior Thesis Workshop in the Flal Term of their senior year.
4. Maintain a GPA of 3.3 overall and 3.5 in the department.
