Undergraduate Programs- Concentrations in Sociology

As stated in the requirement listings for those pursuing Sociology majors and minors in the undergraduate program, students are required to take a specified number of classes in an approved area of concentration. The courses listed under each concentration are the sort that can be used to meet the 4 c.u. requirements for the concentration. Additional courses, such as Special Topics (Sociology 230), will be available from time to time. Each student's program must be approved by the undergraduate chair to ensure that it is sufficiently comprehensive and coherent.

Sociology of Families and Populations
Sociology of Health and Medicine

Structures of Opportunity and Inequality
Urban Sociology
